An outbreak of severe storms and tornadoes hammered the state of Iowa on Wednesday with nearly two-dozen reports of tornadoes across the state. Several supercells developed in southwest Iowa south of I-80 and moved east, causing damage, knocking out power, and closing roads.

Video includes footage from supercell that spawned a rain-wrapped tornado near Martensdale, Iowa near I-35 and later went on to damage telephone poles and knock out power near Pleasantville.
