Forecast for Thursday, October 4, 2012

Snow is continuing for portions of the Northern Plains. Below is a look at the latest advisories and radar.

The Winter Storm Warning (pink) remains in effect until 1am tomorrow morning for portions of North Dakota and Minnesota. Up to a foot of snow will be possible in some areas. Though there may be some areas of heavy snow, it does not appear to be as heavy as originally thought due to the lack of CSI, though there still could be some significant gradients in snow amounts due to melting. Visibilities will also be an issue with strong northerly winds to 30 miles per hour.
