Forecast for Friday, September 21, 2012

Thunderstorms will be possible across portions of the Midwest today. Below is the latest radar and frontal analysis.

While no severe thunderstorms are expected, there will be the potential for further development this afternoon. Moisture advection and daytime heating ahead of the front will allow for destabilization and thus some isolated thunderstorms will be possible. These storms will have the potential for some small hail and possibly some weak tornadoes.
