Forecast for Friday, September 14, 2012

Showers will continue across portions of the Plains and MS/OH River Valleys. Below is the latest radar.

While no severe weather is expected, a shortwave over the Great Lakes will continue to move toward the east. This shortwave will provide enough forcing for thunderstorms across the western portions of New England. Hail potential will be mitigated due to warm upper level temperatures, but some damaging winds cannot be ruled out.
