Forecast for Friday, June 15, 2012

Thunderstorms will be possible today for portions of the Northern and Central High Plains today. Below are the forecast maps for today.

    

A cold front that will move into the Northern Plains will bring a chance of thunderstorms across much of the High Plains today as moisture continues to move northward. Hail to 1.5″ and damaging winds will be the main threats with these storms. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out across the Northern Plains where the shear will be a bit stronger.
