ChaserTV.com was created in Fall of 2008 as a dynamic means to deliver to the web, live streaming severe weather content via ease of use for the chaser and increased retention of, and view-ability for, the end user. Along the way we added in some perks for content providers including the ability to easily sell live streams to media and very high security to better deter theft. Sometimes new products emerge from old ideas. The “streaming video” business model has been around a few years now and from our vantage-point, each service has its strong points and weaknesses. With a lot of personal experience in streaming adverse weather via the internet to mass audiences, we combined our technology and business experience to create what we believe is a superior, highly refined product.
